Code "P0112"

So, I recently performed a bunch of upgrades to the 55. Plugs, SC pulley, 74 to 82mm TB upgrade, pulled the SC and changed the oil, etc, etc. In the process of pulling the SC, the IAT sensor got hung up and the harness got stripped off the wires. The IAT sensor appeared unphased. I purchased a new harness from ECS and some new connectors, cleaned up the wires and connected it all back up. Everything went together well. Admittedly, electrical work is NOT my forte but it seemed straightforward and easy enough.

Anyway, I started the car after all the upgrades with a new tune and no CEL. Cool.


Just started it again (week later) and I got code P0112, which is "Intake Air Temperature Circuit Low Input".

Anyone have any idea what this means? Obviously, I'm wondering if my electrical work is at fault or if the sensor is bad or both. I know they are cheap enough to replace but before I go ordering parts, I figured I would ask around. Any help is welcome. Thanks!

103 views and no one knows a thing?

I rewired the connection and the code went away while idling. I took the car out for the first drive today, the light came back on and the car is a DOG. With the mods I did, I should've gained arguably 100hp, give or take and it feels like I lost 50. I couldn't even shake the tires loose and when the car was stock, it was easy to do. It almost feels as though the SC isn't engaging and I'm running NA. There are no other codes. Could a malfunction with IAT sensor be altering the car in such a way that it will pull fuel and timing?

#stumped

Help!...before I take this to an Indy.

I'm guessing here but it would seem likely that the car would disengage the supercharger if it thought there was a chance that the intake air was too hot. Just like it does when the heat exchanger pump stops working it shuts it down because temps get too high.
As far as what to do to fix it I don't have much input here other than to maybe go back and check all your wiring again.

I can't even get a value off of it. I've ordered a new sensor and I'm gonna have a friend solder the wiring and put new terminals in. That SHOULD take care of it and hopefully the power returns.

Are you using some kind of a live data reader? There should be some type of value. I forget which direction exactly but a short is one end of the spectrum like -40 degrees or +212 and vice versa for open circuit.

I was using an OBD2 bluetooth connected to a Torque Pro app on an Android phone. I think it did say some sort of negative value which is why I assumed it was haywire. Admittedly, I am VERY green on datalogging and have barely scratched the surface.

I took the car in to have the headers and intake installed and should have it back tomorrow night.
