Oil Drain Plugs - Torque?
Anyone got the Torque for the Oil Drain Plugs?
I found so many nice DIY out there and here only none specify the torque values for the 2 oil drain plugs..

Thanks a lot. I did see the same for the w211 Oil Change DIY E320 but wasn't sure if is the sake on the V8 engine. I think will be just right. Strange enough got WIS ASRA and spent hours yesterday trying to find the drain plugs part number but will go my local sometime this week just to be sure. Never had that problem before lol.

Something else I do (habit from motorcycle racing) is put an M&M size dab of RTV silicone on the drain plug head to the oil pan to lessen the chance of it backing out. Will probably never happen if torqued correctly, but good piece of mind. Plus if you ever take it in somewhere else to get an oil change you can see if they actually drained it vice using a vacuum extractor

I do something similar ... I add some gasket sealer to the plug. The ones I have seem to leak a little for some reason even at the correct torque .. I bought drain plugs and washers from Autohausz. After adding the sealer, no more drips. I also use vacuum extractor for the oil every other time. I prefer to take a look under the car every now and again to see if anything else is leaking while I am down there. If I just used the oil extractor every time, I would probably not look under there very often.
