replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs, now have p0507 and 1000rpm idle.
As the title says.
replaced spark plugs and oil seeping valve cover gaskets....
now my car has a p0507 and idles at 1000rpm. was normal before this.
i triple checked all the hoses that needed to be re connected, and added clamps to them.
both valve cover hoses i confirmed are connected, as well as the one that attaches to the drivers side surge tank.
the hose mentioned in the thread bellow is also connected at every possible point.

so what the hell am i missing here? i legitimately have checked EVERYTHING. Disconnected the battery to see if anything changes.....

I had the same code you have a vacuum leak somewhere. (Mine turned out to be the surge tanks weren't properly seated on the gasket between supercharger and surge tank)
If you took off the surge tanks check that the gaskets underneath are seated properly, easiest way to find the vacuum leak is to grab a brake cleaner can and spray it around there if idle changes that's your issue for the code and the high idle. GL

let car sit over night with neg cable removed, and sprayed a half a can of brake cleaner everywhere and no change in rpms. still sits right under the 1000rpm line.
any other thoughts?

The same code showed up today along with a p0105. Would a vacuum leak also cause a P0105 a MAP Circuit Malfunction code? The MAP sensor is brand spanking new!
