2009 E63 wheel questions
I had my car in a shop for about 10 days. After 1 week there is low air pressure warning . One tire had low pressure.when I inspected all 4 tires the wheels look different. There are new scratches and blemishes and the lead weights look like they were newly installed. The caps are different , they are now rounded on the top and black instead of flat topped and gray and the left front was missing.
when I ran my fingers in the inner surface of the wheel it was convex in the outer half and concave in the inner half. I can remember that the inner surface has always been flat when I cleaned them. Are ther differences in the wheels on different e 63's but look the same when just looking at them. I have a feeling that the amg wheels are not the same wheels. They look older. The Michelin pss tires are the same or I believe the ones on it before I took my car to the shop. I will have the tire with a leak fixed by the tire shop that installed my tires about 8 months ago and see if the balancing weights are the same that they use.
I am not making any conclusions yet but I have some gut feeling that something was changed. I believe that a lot of enthusiasts in the forum know their car enough to observe any changes.

So, you think somebody swapped your wheels for a different set but you don't know what your original wheels looked like?
