I've read here that a certain amount of settling, I don't recall just how much, is considered normal. And it is possible that my struts are not original, but if they aren't I haven't noticed the receipt in the book yet. I would worry more about seering to it that the SBC module has been replaced as I think the warranty is out on those. The fuel tank sender leak is the other issue , all eeded info is stickied here.

The last thing you want to do is come out in the morning from a hotel at Las Vegas or something and see your car on the ground. You'll most definitely damage a few things just getting it on a tow truck (bumper, exhaust?), so I would NOT wait until it fails completely.

Not recommended and be careful turning corners! Thank God I was driving in a straight line on the highway. I can't tell you how relieved I was to get home.

Quick update - got the car, and it is amazing. The more I learn about it the better I feel. As a bonus, the tires are literally brand new Michelins, and he gave me all the documentation, he took it in for every service, he even got the dealership to stamp all visits, so fully documented. I am re-thinking having this as a daily driver, its that clean, but then again, how can you not put miles on this car... it makes my 370z feel sluggish in comparison.

first order of business is check your aux cooling pump to make sure its the bosch 010 - if its not (its probably the original with that low miles) then change it to the bosch 010, its only 100 dollars and an easy job (get some special pliers to clamp the hoses)

Awesome find and congrats on the purchase. I recently picked up my E55 with just 30K mi on the clock and it's such an amazing car, so comfortable, fast and fun to drive. Look forward to seeing some pictures of your ride, welcome
