what would cause drivers airmatic strut to not dampen like the rest?
06 cls 55, replaced a strut last year due to airbag blowing up. bought a used take off set or airmatics off a member here that stated it was in mint low mileage, upon receiving everything looked as described.
anyways, noticed on the highway that over large dips in the road or spirited drivng would bounce/sway around like a boat. so im thinking that the replaced strut has lost some of its oil or something in the cars system is not working correctly.
only reason i question the strut is because 1, i see no leaks anywhere, and when i push on the fender on each side it feels normal, and when driving normal it rides great. its only under hard acceleration that it feels like that its not dampening.
i have a feeling its the strut but want to double check with you guys if there is something else i missed .

airmatics came back with a check. so now what? look for a new strut? the more ive been driving the car the more im thinking the front drivers is my culprit, car drove great prior to last airbag blowing . just hard ot believe that there is 0 signs of leaks.

this issue is driving me nuts, traveling straight going over dips and bumps car acts normal, going around a exit ramp and hitting an imperfection in the road the car feels squirrely and sways a tad bit side to side. i just had the alignment done and replaced everything suspension related in the front. inner outer tie rods, ball joints upper lower, bushings , swaybar end links, tires rotated and balanced.
seems like the shock dampens against pot holes and stuff but when it comes to the body rolling it doesnt? not sure if this is making sense, just getting tired of throwing money at a car with 66k miles and dealing with this ongoing issue. any other opinions? is there a way to find out if the shock is ok or failing on front airmatic struts?
