I have the 2-piece SL65 wheels on my car and was going to seperate the 2 halfs for refinishing. My question is am I breaching any seals when the parts seperate causing potential leaks when reassembling? Through the bolt holes or the center section to the outer rim?

You will be ok! Its 2 piece, you are not interfering with the part that has to do with the actual tire!

No,but be careful with those bolts,and that's a special socket also

If i'm not wrong; these Rim face bolts should to torque around (22-25 ft/lbs)>>(32-34 Nm),,

more than that will split the bolt head or damage the bolt thread or squeeze the seal more than it should..!!

Thanks for the help guys. Yes, it's a special socket which I just picked up (8mm 12 point spline bit). I just found this pic on Ebay so I'm ok.
