COMAND on the way out?
My Comand unit is acting strange. When listening to radio or CD, there will be a short squeak, then a quiet pause, then the music comes back on. This was happening every five minutes this afternoon. Never happened before.
Anyone had this happen before?

Have had this in both my C32 and CLS55 freaking annoying. Have replaced amps and checked Fibre optic lines.. Think it must be faulty audio gateway.

i may....need one part. are they they same as the 2007 E63? i'd assume yes?
i've bypassed everything but the navi system at the moment and am still having system reboots. gotta bypass that thing sometime this week.

Comand system is pretty much the same 2004 through 2008 (2003 some vehicles had some other system and 2009 NTG2.5). If you provide me with your VIN, I can cross-check to be sure. Occasionally, there are oddball cases.
The components are plug and play with no coding required.
