Vibration under hard acceleration...
A strange shudder/vibration under acceleration is felt through the firewall and underneath the drivers floor. How do you check for failed motor and tranny mounts? I'll change the mounts myself. What are the better than OEM parts I should be using?

Apparently the parts in the ECS link look the same as the 80001089 parts.

Anyone ever figure this out? My car has this exact same issue. All engine mounts have been replaced. Just did my tranny mount too. Cant figure out what it could be. Its almost like a grinding you can feel through the firewall under heavy acceleration. Apparently the previous owner of the car was having this issue back in 2014. So needless to say it been happening for a while.

You need to inspect first do not replace without confirming its the problem.

Also do you feel any rubbing in the steering as you turn left while slightly giving it more throttle than normal?

Sorry to hijack this thread but just to share my experience and get some feedback if possible.
I'm having same kind of problem for some time on my CLK W209 as you guys describe on yours W211.
In my case it might happen only at hard acceleration because of CDI high torque!
Also changed all engine/transmission mounts, new diff on warranty, every mount was changed also!
What I discovered after some time... I'm running KW v2 and only when I tested with stock suspension the vibration disapeared!
Got the trunk fully loaded with stock OEM suspension to simulate the same hight with the KW v2 and got the vibration back.
It looks like when the car is a bit lower, the rear axles shafts could be at max inside, almost out of the hub and maybe can't handle the torque!
I just have installed KW DDC on my W207 E500 and got the same vibration!!!
What do you guys think that could be the problem?
ps: I don't have the rear extremely low as might tend to imagine with my description above!

Motor mounts are usually notable when launching from the light.
A spark plug wire or ignition problem might be the culprit.
Cruise vibrations come from bent wheels worn tires or steering /suspension components as well.
Rare problems are vacuum leak or clogged filters.
Let us know what you find.
