My V made 703rwhp on e85. That is complete full bolt on and will run you $20k in upgrades over the stock setup. Stock they make around 450rwhp through the auto. With that setup, the car will go high 9s around 140mph on a fast track in good air.
At that point you are into the car between $55-$60k on a low mile well kept late model V.
Now compare that to a fully built e55 and you will come in way lower than that price tag. There are a ton of fast V's out there, so you are also just one of the crowd. The e55 on the other hand is so special, going fast in one at the track really attracts crowds.

Yup, correct but a e55 is not going to be in the low $40k range before mods. Plus, AMG's are not purpose built track assassins like American muscle cars. They have the aftermarket, but again I felt it was a dime a dozen.

Car looks great! I've followed your threads to gain some knowledge about the platform, I can't wait to see what you do with this one. Will you be doing E85 with this one? I'm curious to why not a lot of people use E85 in these cars, other platforms love it.

He seems to have had issues with it down where he is in the southeast. It's a lot more trouble free in the north and west. When working it's the wonderfuel.
