Time for a new pulley...
The old pulley is a bit wobbly after about 25k miles... Getting a new one from Shardul
should I add a shim or two? or will the new pulley spin true?

link to a video showing the looseness of the pulley - you can hear it rattle against the rivents just spinning - not solid anymore

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
From photo 2 in the first post, I would not be too concerned with shimming.
The inner area of the clutch has been rubbing on the pulley in a bad way, The outer area of the clutch is not seating properly causing scoring.
The center of the clutch where the return spring rivets are shown. These are worn half way through.
Replace the clutch and pulley before they destroy the nosecone of the supercharger.
Clearence the new assembly properly as others are recommending in this post.
All Cheers, Gator
