Some of you are running your nitrous jets pre'throttle on the plastic y pipe while others are running directly tapped on to the surge tanks..

Pros and cons of each and reason why you chose that path. Please chime in on inputs and opinions and how many shots you are running on current set up.

Any info is much appreciated

Into the Y before the TB is better. When it's into the surge tank the distribution isn't going to be nearly as good.

Wet kit into the Y pipe or dry? I'm wondering if spraying fuel into the supercharger will have any long term effect.

Wet. I've never heard of any problems from spraying thru the supercharger. I have a friend that runs Q16 and sprays a 200 shot thru his Whipple and he's done it for years without a problem. Not a Mercedes but same style blower that e55's have.

The cap over the end bearings that is built into the nosecone isn't sealed there. Mine had dirt residue inside that got past the K&N's that came with the car. I sealed it with dirtbike engine sealer when I had it apart for new bearings. I'm thinking this might prevent rinsing the grease out of those two bearings for you.

How many hp shot where u running with your set up and what modifications did u have or do to run the shot of nitrous? I'm going to run a wet 75hp shot for starters on stock plugs, and injectors. Only mods are IC pump, 83mm SC pulley, and FTP HE
