So, I've got a letter in the fender badge that is coming off
Any recommendations on an adhesive to fix it?

No answer for you bro - I'm just surprised at the irony of you helping so many yet no-one has an answer for your problem...! Anyway, just thought one reply would be good even if it doesnt help at all.

Sell the piece of junk, it's falling apart! A new badge is probably less than a tube of 3M trim adhesive. Guessing.
Pretty much any auto parts sore will have it. It's just contact cement.

Thanks. I've never actually had to deal with this problem before on any car.

Not sure on the cost of a new one compared to 3m adhesive, but getting the adhesive off of the car is a royal pain! Dental floss worked pretty well to remove the letters. That may help if you start with a new one!

The badging is pretty much IMPOSSIBLE to get back on like it came from the factory (spacing between letters, level, etc.) and good bad or ugly the first sign of a previously wrecked 113K is the "V8 Kompressor" badge not looking right...
Good luck.

Try to preserve the letters and layout at all costs! Overpay to make sure it is done right and starting from scratch is a big risk...

3M foam tape is what I (and paint shops) normally use for this (and attaching just about anything to the body).
pick the width that suits your job (I keep rolls of several widths in my shop)

hope that helps,
Chris

I guarantee a new badge is more expensive than the foam tape mentioned above.
Edit - Wholesale on a new badge is ~$53. Tape is $6 via Prime.

What is my knowledge on this? My previous E55 car got banged up. The shop ended up spending like 6 hours trying to get it on "perfect" (with no insurance reimbursement). It turned out nice but not perfect.

i had removed the side letterings a while back. Was trying to get it put on, and couldnt get it to align correctly. So left it off. From the looks of it, its 3m tape of some sort being used.
