I would recommend the 83. After I got the pulley and tune my car has been great. The power increase is very good. I have debated on a 77 also. I did Plm shorty headers instead. At this point I don't need any more hp. First time I have said that in my 47 year life.
If you do research on the exhaust manifolds on this car I don't see the point of throwing a 77mm on a car without headers.

No I have not. But I'm outrunning the c7's now. It was really close before. After the shortys it's not happening. I would guesstimate 11.6's. . I have stock cooling and ic pump. I get about 14 sec of wot before I lose power from heat.
