special order for Audi/VW. Nardo Grey. I think some RS6 and RS7 came with it.

previous owners didn't really take care of the paint. from more than 4 feet away paint looks great when washed, but everyday I'd walk up to the thing I'd know she really ain't.
also someone hit and run'd my front passenger fender, and someone at work keyed a quarter panel of my car the 2nd week I started. probably because they think its a million dollar car because it looks cool but really isn't. additionally i had blacked out all chrome using plastidip and it has been peeling over the past few months. car will be nice once its done...probably gonna order black plates too.

its a shame when people don't respect other peoples property
how much is all of this costing you? Is your insurance paying for a portion of it?

insurance is only covering the damaged panels. the fender hit and run would have required a different incident to be called in which i felt i shouldn't do. i think if you have two or more incidents within a given time your insurance rates get hiked up, your fault or not.
job is going to be in the range of 6,500-7,000k if all goes right. fender is going to be in the $500 range for a replacement, and I asked him to replace the windshield as the factory one is all pitted.

stopped by the body shop today...been a slow non rushed job so far which I prefer! I appreciate that the body shop is taking their time to do things right.
current status, repainting a few trim panels, wet sanding, and then machine polishing to a shine. car should be ready sometime next week, but no rush. I need to remind him to replace the factory windshield has become pitted over time, so maybe two weeks from now.
