Yes, this car is limited, if it is a real Presidential Edition. They were cars built with real Carbon Fiber trim instead of the Black Birdseye Maple and supposedly driven by MBZ Execs.!!!

I think the Titanium carbon fiber trimming looks way better than the Black ones.

 

Hey!!! I didn't say it was worth the extra $20k, I was simply pointing out the fact that it is a rare E55!!!!!

 

............Actually this has been discussed before. Atlanta Classic cars had one for sale for $97K and it got no bids. I have seen the car myself. It looks nice and has black carbon fiber trim and an AMG logo on the front ashtray cover. It has Comand, which for a 2003 E55 is ararity. However I saw nothing to justify the extra price tag and as far as I know, the car never sold at that price.

Since these 7 cars came from the factory the CF trim and AMG interior bits should be orderable at any Mercedes dealer? That would be a nice interior upgrade on other W211's.

is that blacked out grille factory? if not, then i thought non-factory mods would depreciate a car's retail value, especially on a brand new car

 

is that body colored grille factory as well? I thought non-factory mods on a "brand new" would infact depreciate the cars value.

 

Maybe it's the designo nappa interior....Whoa I almost wanted to bid....


Or maybe it's the fact that it's a 2k3 WITH a DVD Nav which would be neat (in 2k2/early2k3) when it wasn't available, but I'd rather buy a 2k4 for far less. Whatever.
