thanks hulk. I live in Minnesota. the track was rock falls, Wisconsin. DA was 1,700-1,800 with a tempo of 73. Blues skies and sunshine. If you watched the Ryder Cup over the last few days that is the weather.

Cooling is KC (no h/e), mez pump, colder plugs, and all weatherstrip and plastic plates under the motor removed. Mid length headers...

You don't need a heat exchanger with a KC. You are starting iats below ambient temps

That's why you need a tank to store the cold water. When KC shuts off at wot the tank is holding cold water to sustain the pull

Ruth a few things...

#1) My IAT went from 173 coming through the trap to 70 by the time I got my slip. I turned my A/C back on after the run. Guessing 1-2 minutes to cool.

#2) Much to your shagrin I got DESTROYED by a CTS-V Friday night that was a "couple bolt on car". White Coupe with factory chromes and drag radials on the back. Love the looks of that car!

The driver (who I saw at the strip Saturday who has a 1,400 HP GTO) said it his V has upper and lower pulleys, exhaust, intake and E85 said "it just does everything right". I agree! We hit is from about 35 (I was in 2nd) and he had pulled me by 3+ lengths by 2-3 shift. Very impressed.
