FM Tuner weak

FM Tuner weak
I tried doing a search with no luck (and searching for 'FM' isn't allowed) so please bear with me if it's been asked before, but is it common for the FM Tuner in the '04 (or earlier) E55 to be extremely weak?
I can't believe how weak the FM Tuner is. Just curious if it's a known issue, and if there is a 'known fix', my dealership shrugged it off since it tuned fine there
From my house it takes a good 5-10 miles of making my way toward the city before it will pick up anything, every other car I have tunes fine even in my driveway
