Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool & Torque Pro

Has anyone used these items? Pretty affordable but is it just a waste of money? The super low price makes me wonder!

I used to use the paid torque app along with an ELM 327 adapter. It worked well enough until I found a good deal on a real logging solution. You won't get AFR or other parameters real time, but at least you'll have an idea if something is wrong with cooling etc.

They're very popular for generic OBDII code reading. They should work fine. I had one before I got the X431 Launch Easy Diag, it's way better because it reads MB specific codes instead of just engine and emissions code like an OBDII reader. Theyre only about $50 or so on Ebay as long as you get the Plus version which comes with software for 2 vehicle manufacturers, otherwise it's just an OBDII code reader. It just basically reads existing codes and lets you clear them. There are some more advanced ones that will help with SBC etc, but they're more in the $100-$200 range. Don't have SBC on mine so I don't need anything fancy.
