Oh just spray it !!!! Everyone told me my big block couldn't handle the 3 stage 450 "shot" I would give it and she always ran fine. 100-150-250 computer controlled. Still turned the tires a little.....just a little!!LOL
AFR's are critical as is timing so always error on the safe side. Good luck !

A 50 shot, is like an NA engine running a 100. Anything beyond a 75, it's probably advised to go with a wet. Anything above a 100-150, most vendors like N2 Outlet will advise a direct port setup to properly disperse the shot.

Go for it. Only one way to find the limit.
yeah I currently have a wet set up. Even just a small 50 shot I still am going to run wet. I would never run dry. No way in hell! All my previous nitrous experience and knowledge along with installs were always wet kits all day. I would love to find out the limit to this motor if only they weren't so pricey. Here in socal these engines arent to hard to find if u really want one, its just the price tag on theses m113k's that's got me not wanting to push limits.

You crack me up and somehow all your posts are very entertaining. Question as it seems you know your stuff and I always like to know peoples background (some guys talk crap and no nothing). What are your credentials on the drag scene/nitro topic? Don't be humble!

Thank you!

drag scene credentials i came from the honda scene back in the fast and furious 1 days haha! Then i went to the nissan route with the s-chassis which was a 97' 240sx. I was able to produce 411whp on 21psi of boost on a garrett gt3076r turbo on 850 cc side feed injectors at 84% duty cycle on the injectors with an areomotive 340lph fuel pump engine was built by Christian over at SP-ENGINEERING swap done me, but The list goes on and on with that car. Leard alot from it. As for me and my AMG drag experience .. I'm on youtube. I'm the guy with the silver e55 that lost to the green hell cat wen u type in "e55 vs hellcat" i was bone stock just with fallen azenis rt -615k tires. For the most part I didn't know I was being recorded and I found myself on youtube on accident. I Ran a 12.6 that run For my first pass of the day with airmatic fully raised and tires lowered to 25-27psi . My best time that day was a 12.397. Haven't went since. Nitrous kits I first did it on a Honda b-series 50 shot dry.. n that's the car y I no longer went with a dry shot. Been wet shot every since. The other kits were all on my buddies cars such as a srt8 Chrysler 300, 2 camaro z28, and a c5 corvette. Wierd how I was originally into imports yet now I run a v8. I was against v8's so bad and was import all the way. But the torque on a v8 is so awesome! I *** in my pants every time I step on gas. Idk if that was the answer ur looking for but yeah. That's my credentials

Thanks. Many years to get there !! I used to spin that engine to 8,500 rpm and broke more lifters and valve springs than I could remember. At one point I finally learned about lowering the piston ring lands on my custom pistons because when I would tear the engine down every year I would have to pry the piston rings off the pistons because they where bent down on the ring lands from the crazy pressure!! Got real tired of that but the fun factor was INSANE!!!!

8500 is nuts for a big block! I'd love to hear that. Got any sound clips or video?

Nozzle placement is important. No one here really mentioned that or how they installed theirs. Window switches are highly suggested. Go wet. 75-100 shot should be a real kick in the pants since it lowers air temp so much on a boosted motor. If I were to do it on my Mercedes I would run a 50 shot on each side of the intake manifold just after the cooler and move the air temp sensor to the forward most side. I do see that moving the stock air temp sensor might be quite a challenge since the "seat" for that sensor is very unique. Has anyone used an NPT threaded sensor in its place that responds to all the same values? Anyway, my .02.

2002 CLK 55 AMG cabriolet Eurocharged
Other considerations to consider is the Supercharged engine is low compression.

The OEM pistons are among the strongest available for compatibility with Alusil Cylinders.
Remember to have a reliable Nitrous engine requires high compression forged pistons. The supercharger will make up some static compression under boost but one has to determine what RPM the Nitrous should be introduced.
Detonation will get traumatic with overboost and pre ignition might occur durring low boost.
Hence a 50 shot @ 5000 RPM with meth cooling and an aftermarket boost PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) might be favorable and tunable.
Like Italian Joe says. Get used to what the Wideband Gauge is telling you.

Happy New Years Eve Folks
