So my issue basically begins with the dreaded fuel leak that causes your car to stink of petrol. After 2 agonising months trying to have this problem solved and then ultimately ending up at a dealership. I got a system replaced and paid a fortune to do so. I drove my car home from the dealership and parked it. 2 days later my car will not start. The starter turns and turns but the engine will not even begin to turnover. Has anyone experienced this issue or know anything about it?

Is the fuel tank issue not covered by the recall in Canada? It is in the US.

I would call the dealership and have them tow it. It may not be related,you never know

Not in Canada, it was a US agency/Mercedes deal

I agree, get it back to the dealer and have a proper diagnosis. Could be related or maybe not.

First of all, check to see if you get fuel. If not, check for blown fuses, check to see any of the hoses in the tank come loose. If you get fuel and the engine just crank, time to replace the cps.

same issue my pump went bad and replaced fuel pump and filter the day after the car wont start took it back to the shop and the pump is not working, they check it out and have it fixed from hoses that they did not fix it in a proper way
