E63 cluster swap Q
so I swapped my cluster for an E63 cluster ($275 from LKQ). The cluster worked but had the ------- for mileage. I swapped the PCB, and everything works now, but I lost all of the cool e63 features (oil temp, lap time, ect). Is there a fix to resetting this pcb to work with mileage and the oil temp?

Yeah, reset the odometer and reprogram the miles back on. Shardul can do it I think

I got the pre safe warning after swapping to 63 cluster. Anyone get that with 63 cluster swap? Every function works perfect mileage too. I better remember to tell the guys to check it when it hooks up to star on monday.

How did you get the mileage to appear correctly?

cluster must be new and requires version coding to transfer odometer to the new cluster...

I sent my cluster to a friend and I got it back and mileage was working.

But, the pre safe stayed on. I had the car hooked up on star and the mb tech couldn't figure it out. He said there is no faults in the SRS system. I dunno. Can anyone chime in on how to fix the pre safe warning light?

Update. I just ordered a star Scanner. Will be playing with changing adaptations and trying to remove presafe.
