08' e63 gear shifter gets stuck

08' e63 gear shifter gets stuck
Hey guys, so recently mug ear shifter had been getting stuck from park into reverse and from neutral into reverse. I really have to play with it for it to get dislodged. Is this an electrical problem and is anyone familiar with it.

When I did my Rear Main, which then turned into a full rebuild from that point back, I had ordered the little bits that comprise the little bushings, lock rings etc of the shifting linkage and was slightly impressed with how it felt, I say slightly because after replacing every bushing in the rear suspension, shocks, Airbags, Drive discs, Tranny Valve Clean, steering rack bushings, Brakes,rotors, 3.06 Ring & Pinion, the shift linkage was a slight improvement in comparison to everything else!
I will say that although I had slightly less smooth shifting before that particular upgrade, I cannot see how linkage would effect what your talking about. That, to me, seems like a transmission valve or gear issue???
