I have a 2004 e500 that shakes violently when I accelerate. It's very very annoying. It does it in all gears but if you accelerate hard it doesn't do it. It does it more when I'm going uphill. Someone help please. Thanks!

It sounds like you need a new torque converter, maybe a transmission rebuild and new radiator too. Search this forum and the non-amg w211 forum for "glycol contamination."

Could be glycol contamination depending on when it was built. My shudder was between 1500 -2500 rpm at part throttle. I replace the TCC lockup solenoid and did a filter/fluid change and that remidied the situation.
