Help Board ! Engine noise at startup !
Hello friend! Can you help me with the Council , you have a lot of experience and lot of knowledge unlike me. The situation is the following : when engine start , cold engine and hot start , sometimes the sound of the engine scares me , look at the link it looks like such a sound! What could be the reason? ( the mileage of the car is 20,000 miles , 2008 year )

Sorry to hear that bro it sounds like a piston pin bushing or a loose rod bearing.
Other noises like that are worn timing chain tensioner which lost home position after cooling. I would start here. The other culprit is the oil pump tensioner which requires timing cover removal.
Valve terrain noises are higher pitched with less crankase drone. more rap n tap type of noise.
But start with the timing chain tensioner first. It gets labor intensive after that.

Another reason not to re-use oil that has been sitting in crankcase storage for years collecting moisture
