OBC "Brake Pad Wear Visit Workshop error"

What could possibly cause this error, if your pads are good; and your sensors are new?

Its on a 2004 E55.

Background:
I purchased the car about a year and change ago with good front rotors; the rears were low; so I swapped them out about 5 months ago. I used new pads/rotors/sensors on the rear;
I also bought new sensors for the front just to rule out bad sensors.

Sounds like the brake wear circuit for the rear is grounding out somewhere. I would inspect both rear wiring looms. you prob will need to remove the rear fender liners. Hopefully you will be able to find a sliced wire or section that is grounding out.

2005 E55 AMG
I remember seeing somewhere that there is a fuse under the steering wheel that can trigger this coming on. Something like a $10 piece and a 5 minute job.

I'd recommend doing a quick search for your error and looking through some of the other posts.
