Those bearings look like a better design than OEM. The seals at least.

Yes its supposed to be better, and im pretty sure it is.

Not sure about what you are asking about the lockite, but i used "hard" meaning the strenght of it on the outer race and bearing housing before pressing it in.

Any loctite but not super strong

Any loctite will work but not recommended to use extremely stong loctite as it will break the alloy case if you ever push them out.

the force of the interference fit will hold them in place.. the loctite is just a second safety option.

just recommend so its 1000% not going to move

Loctite makes specific products Some are for bolt treads, some are for retaining bearings and sleeves with different strengths. There's a 3 digit number on the bottle or tube like 271, and a color to keep it simple. Red is the strong stuff for bolts. I forget the # but green is one of the stronger sleeve retainers. If you know what it is, you can look up how hot it has to be to get it to let go. If... you ever have to take it apart again.

I cleaned the holes and grooves and injected regular JB weld. I'm afraid it was massive overkill, but you might have me beat with the loctite. If your bearings didn't have grooves I would have done the same thing though. I had oem bearings.

Jb welded bearings...

Your jb welded bearings are now one with the supercharger case..😂 they will never come out

There isnt force to push the bearings out when in use.The loctite really just is to be super super safe.

There is heat to expand the aluminium, there's air pressure, and vibration. You may be right about mine though. My plan was to use a lot of heat. Chances are pretty good I'll find out one day. I like this car and plan to keep driving it.

Scratch the air pressure, should be vacuum at that end.

Well...I'm late to the party here! I managed to miss this thread last March and just found it today. Elhonaz, great writeup and you have a well-organized shop.

Bennyraw, please check Private Message here on the forum.

Edit: Pre-order submitted. My credit card company goes nuts on an international charge...but in a good way. :-)
