I searched and found mixed opinions over the last 14 years or so.

Basically I ordered 20x10 rear and 20x9 front wheels.

The tire place ordered 285-30-20 for the rear which I believe will be fine.

They ordered 255-35-20 front which Im not sure about.

The OD is 26.7 rear and 27 front so I wont have issues there with abs light,etc

The question is will it rub?

I could go 245-35-20 and be at 26.8 OD
OR 255-30-20 but thats at 26 OD which may not work.

What do you all think?

I've heard conflicting reports about 255/35r20 fitment.
I'm in a CLS but still going to be a close fit (if it does). About to pull the trigger myself.

Also, would a 285/35r20 fit?

Offset of wheels is +32 front and +40 rear.

you may have to run a spacer and grind the exposed threads for the upper ball joint.

You think it would be better just to go 245-35-20?

Ive heard the 285-35-20 wont fit will. But seems that everyone agrees the 285-30-20 fits great.

I just had 245 35 20's put on front and had to grind bolt on top of the tire, don't know what it is called though.
