dont worry, he obviously didnt see our test results with the secondary, the secondary pretty drastically improves recovery times, I believe our results are still posted in the facebook page.

LOL means a lot coming for you.
I know of multiple members / vendors stating you really don't know what you talking about when you deal with them.

this thread got a little sidetracked from gears to HE's/tanks,,, i am curious about where you sourced the gears and did you replace the diff with aftermarket or just swap ring/pinion -- approx costs ?? thanks ! i have been debating 2:82 gears but 3:06 maybe more fun.

You just need the ring and pinion

Yea this thread got a little sidetracked. Like Hulk said ring and pinion is all you need.
If you want neck snapping you want to go with 306. You can source this out on the SRT8 forums. I bought it used for 2 Benjamin's. The hole project cost me around 1300 give or take a few bucks. Gears, seals, bearings, wavetract LSD. I probably saved a "G" installing it myself.

What bearings and seals are needed? I may attempt this swap but I don't know where to begin for what's needed...outside of the new gears.

ghlainez car saw 31 deg of rise of air charge temps on the dyno yesturday. prob the new pump and bigger tank helped the most.

Doesn't seem like any improvement? Am I missing something? I'm sure t recovers better but the rise seems to be the same.

Wouldn't it be easier to just take all that extra weight of fluid, tanks and secondary gear exchangers out for water injection since you're on a 77mm (180)pulley like myself? If I went like 190-195 I would probably add the tank.

50/50 meth to water = Ambient 63, intake 80, top of third gear 130mph= 98*f and holds all the way up until you decide you're too scared to go any faster (160+ is that limit for me). If I run pure water (which I did for my ec road tune)I will rise to 104-106*f BUT that was from 1500rpm in third gear to red line so starting at 5mph ish??? so a lot more work than a 45/50/55 blast to 130+

I don't see the need for all this extra stuff, but maybe I'm wrong. Aquamist FTW. BEST $700 bucks I've spent yet.

210lvr I hear ya. I may go that route. My temps are around 10-15 over ambient. Once I hit the track and see what my times and temps are I'll determine if I go meth.

100% water will extinguish the spark so you need a little meth in there

I have seen mixtures from 90/10 to 75/25 working very well

Nozzle sizes will differ for mixes
