Hello all. I just bought a 05 e55 finally and i need advice about exhaust upgrades. Im going with mid headers remove resonator and have X pipe then Cls63 mufflers. My question is about the cats. I wanna keep one in to reduce smell. What cat should i keep and i know having mid headers removes primary but should i put it on at the collector or just keep the secondary cat. Also what do i do about the 02 sensors... do i install primary 02s in the mids and post 02s farther down or remove post and have iqrace tune em out. Thanks far any help guys.
Throw the mids on and leave the secondary cats to reduce the smell. No need for the primaries. If the mids are from eurocharged or kleeman u should get a tune or find someone with STAR to delete your secondary o2's so u won't get a check engine light. Enjoy. For more questions or info text me
