besides the v8 and engine and motor, does the e55 have for example diff type of suspensions? also would like to know if i can do a muffle delete to my 06 e350 just to make it sound little better because thats the closet ill get to a e55 in my opinion.

I would just enjoy it for what it is. I believe the airmatic received some amg treatment.

Modding an E350 is pointless and trashy, it's not a sport version of the car.

Drive it and enjoy it, chuck your mod money into an account and pay off your 350... I bet in a year or two you will have the 10k to get your e55. Dont trash up a classy benz

Suspension, brakes, aluminum body panels, interior......many many differences. Agree with the others here - leave it for what it is.

Echoing others, enjoy it for what it is, a midsize luxury car. You don't want to make it look like a total piece of garbage, which is the most common result of modding a E350.

If you really want to do something to it, get some nice sticky tires or tint.

Let me think about this is a second, there are many differences: Besides engine and transmission, steering wheel, airmatic suspension, rear differential, brakes, body panels, exhaust, wheels, seats, headliner, pedals, SBC brake system, but there is more. My suggestion save your money and buy yourself an E55. Or trade in your E350 for one.

I know the brakes (pads, disks, calipers) are different, but the SBC is the same, isn't it?

It called Sensotronic Brake Control or SBC, which is essentially a brake by wire system. In your car, with a traditional
hydraulic brake system, the driver applies force by a mechanical link from the pedal to the master brake cylinder. In turn the master brake cylinder develops hydraulic pressure at the wheels. In a SBC system a piston pump driven by an electric motor supplies a controlled brake fluid pressure, when the driver presses the brake pedal the SBC control unit calculates the desired brake pressures on each individual wheel. Through the use of independent pressure modulators the system regulates the hydraulic pressure at each wheel.

I hope that explains it

Oh, I know what SBC is, but I have an E55, my grandparents have an E320, and my mom has an E350. My car and the E320 both have SBC, and they look identical.

I thought you were implying that there was a difference in the SBC units between an AMG car and a non AMG car.

The SBC system architecture is essentially the same in all Mercedes, but maybe configured a little differently for an AMG, possibly higher brake pressure, due to the nature of the car.
