W211 E55 S/C pulley drum please help !!

Hey guys just swapped my bearing 2 days ago noticed that the black drum moves while car is of is that normal?

Yes,the black drum is an Electric magnet and should be loose until you hit the throttle a bit, then it connects to the pulley and you get boost!

Thank you guys for the replys , it can be that the sound is coming from the new bearing its a black seal oppose to the red seal , i had to hit it with the hammmer in order for it to go back on to the s/c

Use this method

Perhaps when you whacked it somehow it is not flush... I would use thermodynamics to your advantage as seen here
