W211 E63 gains from LTH
Hey guys, out of curiosity, from those of you with LTHs and a tune...what was the final figure that you ended up with and what was the gain from before the headers and tune?
Dyno sheet and type of dyno (dynapack, dyno dynamics etc) would be useful to see as well.
Just curious to see really, as I hear a lot that the E and SL M156 models dyno lower than the C's because of the MCT, but I wonder what the 7G-tronic models are like.

haven't dynoed, but traction control barely holds on...my car gets squirmy and leaves tire tracks even with traction control on. before the mods, traction control limits power and is very safe.

I dont have a before graph but i had, row with k&n, primary and secondary cat delete with a V6 tune, i recently put on LTH and all i can say is WOW, totally different car! i dont have a before dyno but friday i will be doing a remote dyno tune with Eurocharged so i will have a baseline with the mods and the difference in power with the remote tune.

I'm half-heartedly considering nitrous too y'know...tbh I'd only want to run a small-ish shot though (70hp or so) as I wouldn't want to de-tune the car for N/A everyday use.

FWIW my car picked up the usual 40 from my long tube install and peaked at 460 but that was with a terrible magnaflow x-pipe which is what strangled my top end. I've since removed it and opted for straight pipes from each bank and the butt-dyno has registered an improvement for sure. Aiming to re-dyno during June with a tune tweak....
Just curious really as to what the W211's put down on the dyno. I know C63's tend to get to around 460-480whp (even from a 380whp baseline), but I hardly ever hear of the E classes getting that high.

fwiw, Weistec cites the following on California 91 octane:
http://weistec.com/all/e/e-63/2007-2...-w211-e63.html
I'm still debating on doing this, but the main reason I got the M156 over the M157 was because I didn't want to mod. If I did want to mod, I'd go to the M157 platform and then go nuts with Weistec's new turbo system http://weistec.com/media-events-pres...ec-m157-turbo/.
I don't mean to come off as a Weistec fanboy, but when I talked to them at the AMG Private Lounge event at Laguna Seca, they were very straightforward - and I like the appeal of CARB certification as well.

Yeah I saw that one....been speaking to them recently via email and FML wow professionalism, wisdom and all-round awesome is extremely high with those guys. Actually quite tempted to pull the trigger on a Weistec custom tune tbh.
It's funny though...even their baseline is hella low at 394whp. At 18% transmission loss, that's ~465hp...near enough the same as a stock PFL C63.
