theoretically, if you upgrade to a large h/e, split cooling, killer chiller + meth , you still wouldn't be able to run to 70mm?
pretty sure ive seen builds on here with 77 upper + 168 lower, which is not far off
i will probably go with the 77mm as shardul suggested

I think the supercharger gets too inefficient at that ratio so you generate more heat than extra boost like hulk says. It probably gets worse exponentially past a certain point but im not engineer!

False info here.
I have a 72mm FSP, in FLORIDA.
Killer chiller, trunk tank, meth.
Cruising is 20* below ambient usually, and wot doesn't go over 110f.
Mod, enjoy.
Cooling, and fuel first. As you may start leaning out like I did.

I've been to the track.
Ran a 12.02 @121.9mph
On street tires and spinning. 2.2 60ft. Which is terrible.
But that mph isn't bad. This was also in Florida, while I was leaning out, on street tires, and 80+f ambient
They can be tamed, and are very worth it when done

Awesome post Funktron
I would stay away from the 70mm as my first mod... I think that is all that hulk is really getting at
You guys are actually disagreeing while agreeing at the same time
Like Travis said if you choose this pulley you MUST have massive cooling in place or it WILL be slower than your car is stock!
(+/- $2k-$4,500k depending on who does the install and if new/used parts)
Log the whole damn time or have about $4k stacked up to replace the motor (less if doing it yourself) - also what Travis was eluding to

Prayers = my first mod lol

That is a nice respectable 11.42/11.52 sec pass if you could hook T good on ya

Exactly, I was stating you need full blown cooling for that pulley here. Compared to a 72mm you're looking at like .2 more pounds of boost. So not much difference. A clutched pulley definitely generates less heat most of the time
