The Smoking Tire has an upcoming segment on the W211 E55
I was reaching out to Matt Farah to see his opinion on the W211 E55, and he let me know he just tested one recently for an upcoming segment on TST.
It should be on the youtube channel around the week of June 19th.
Any now we wait...
*He wanted to include the fact that the car was equipped with hand controls. But I don't see that being a big factor in the review.

Dad's designo that is stock drives a bit different than a buddies slightly stock Stage 2 / 180CP /Eurocharged Tune (520whp/618wtq) and they both drive different than my 185cp/meth/rice rocket on coilovers with rear camber arms and refreshed suspension.

SL55 hand control pics compared to W211 video
Hi folks,
Here is a very relaxing (disabled hand-control) throttle to use and solidly mounted and tucked nicely out of the way of knees etc. See other comments on the main page comment, or I can copy in here if that one is not visible readily.
We did hardware and software ourselves, even has launch facility (throttle inhibit on brake active). Throttle grip is 3D printed.
We have also fitted to a Sprinter and I test drove a lot on my W203 C240.
Cheers, Greg
