hey all, i recently got a c7 corvette so i havent driven the e55 too often but i noticed this weird purplish thing on the display, the weird color slowly increased and then the last few months its remained this way, has anyone experienced this or know what it is and how to fix?

Looks like the LCD is going bad. Probably going to need to be replaced.

To my understanding much like upgrading to an E63 cluster you will need to replace your factory board into the new one

there is no way just to fix the screen? how much does that cost?

I'm sure there is, but without seeing one torn apart, it's hard to determine who the LCD is made by, how it's connected, its part number, etc. I'd imagine it's just a ribbon cable and some fasteners.
