2004 E55, Triumph Speed Triple
Timing chain should be ok, it's not a belt so they aren't really meant to be changed at the frequency of a belt.

0W-40 mercedes rated oil will work for engine oil, takes just shy of 9qts.

ATF134 for the transmission, Shell or Pentosin is what's reccomeneded.

When I rebuilt my motor @ 120k of hard miles, I compared the old timing chain to a brand new chain, identicle in size. Even the oil pump chain. Actually all of the timing componets were mint including the guide rails. The only worn component was the poorly designed oil pump chain tensioner. The engine is smooth, and quiet-for an E55, now.

Have not read or heard of a single M113k timing chain failure.

is oil a bad oil pump chain tensioner behind all the whine at cold start?

No, a worn oil pump tensioner (spring) causes rattle as it allows the chain to hit the timing cover case, also sends tiny metal particles into the oil stream, until the filter captures it.
