Slow Start, then no Start

Slow Start, then no Start
Would appreciate the advice of you guys on this one. Haven't had a chance to pull codes yet --- doing it tomorrow. No lights on the dash (to indicate anything wrong --- all normal lights on)
Car starts fine normally when cold --- fast crank, starts right up. Occasionally when hot (and its 90 degrees here often), when you start via keyless go it hesitates for a 1/4 crank, then cranks fast but doesn't fire up unless you turn off the keyless go, put foot back on brake, and hit it a second time. Then it fires right up. Doesn't do this a lot, but in the last two weeks I noticed it doing it a touch more.
Today --- car was sitting all day, fired right up. Supermarket parking lot after 3 minutes off, car cranks very slow. Turn it off. Car cranked very slow again. Third time no crank at all. Motor not turning. No clicks, no noises.
Voltage in trunk reads 12.60 with a voltmeter right now. Haven't checked it while cranking yet.
If I put the key in the ignition, the "hesitate" start I get sometimes with keyless go never happens. Now, won't turn with key in ignition either.
Any thoughts or advice would be seriously appreciated before I dive in tomorrow morning with STAR. I'm dealing with a major family issue connected with my sick father, so this was a really inopportune time for it to occur.
