Thanks I just ordered a new set at the dealer. My cost was $700! But I didn't want to go aftermarket as the car is stock.. do I need anything else to install them? Is it an easy job? Thanks again!

There's a short video on Youtube with this topic...hopefully this link works.

I just entered e55 fuel injector in the search engine on youtube.

I'm entertaining changing mine out soon...let us know how it went.

Are the stock ones prone to fail?

In 2006 they went to bigger injectors.. stock shouldn't fail unless something is wrong with them. Using cheap fuel can clog them sooner too
