Lowered E55 (via STAR) pulling right. Common problem? Fix?
Doing a search it seems to be a common problem with lowered E55's pulling. For some reason pulling right seems the norm. I have checked the usual culprits, tire pressure, dragging brake, etc. All is well. Took it for alignment and as expected, it's a close as the tech could get it, but he couldn't get it where it needs to be for lack of adjustment range. I've read about the so called "crash bolts", which most say don't really help much due to the small amount of range over stock adjustability that they allow.
The car isn't super slammed, the tops of the wheel arches are about 1/2" over the tops of the tires.
I guess the question is what have you guys done about this? Is there a kit available that helps alleviate this? It really make the car less enjoyable to drive especially over long distances.

my car isn't STAR lowered, but when i'm parked on an uneven surface my car will pull while on the freeway. it'll only readjust once i raise then re-set my height using factory buttons. i am lowered using an ELM.

Can anyone help with this?
Thanks, Barry - tried your fix and still no good. The car pulls pretty strong to the right. I tried alignment, and that didn't help. Pressure, etc is all correct. Can anyone who has experienced this tell me what if anything can be done to correct it? I know the so-called "crash bolts" are supposedly not effective. I'd appreciate any info anyone can send my way.

At bare minimum you need an alignment though.

My S55 was fixed with adjusting the ride height. My front right was an three quarters of an inch lower than the left. It had ABC so I bought some adjustable links and made the same height. Alignment showed perfect before the fix.

Yep, this. My car was pulling, check out the control arm bushings, and one of them was completely destroyed and ripped up. Another good indicator that they need attention is a thunk when you go over bumps or take hard turns.
At bare minimum you need an alignment though.

Hopefully this is a lead, thanks so much!

This I have to look into as well. It seems the car is never exactly even side to side, and crazy as it sounds, it changes. I'm not really sure how to correct this, but it's another avenue to pursue. Thanks!

With the Airmatic, you just calibrate the suspension using Star. I've posted on how to perform this calibration. Front suspension is individually adjustable on each side, rear suspension is calibrated to a single level sensor.
