Replacing fog light

I had my car washed yesterday and found out that the driver side fog light was broken. I can only find links on how to replace the fog light bulb but not the fog light itself. Can someone please help me out? It's 07 E63, thanks.

its super easy...remove star(torx) bolt from grill, pull your grill by pulling forward to release. then you'll see 4 screws or star(torx) bolts holding fog assembly.

fob assembly is the same unit as the C63 W204, so eBay and Amazon will be your best bet for a replacement.

at some point...who knows when, i plan to replace both sides with Morimoto LED Fogs

My driver side fog light lens broke somehow. Do I have to replace the entire housing or can I put a new piece of glass?

You have to replace the whole fog assembly, MB dealer quoted me $179, I got it at AutohausAZ for $66, perfect fit, very easy to install.

speaking of fogs (and totally sidetracking this thread)......has anyone replaced their fogs with LEDs?

I feel like the heat / power consumption of the fogs (especially if left on) kills a battery so fast.
