Before I start I would like to mention I really am not looking for "smart" replies.. I can not go past 100 in my 2004 e55 amg. I cant find my true 1/4 mile time until I get this fixed. I have searched and searched on here for months!
Problem: Can not go past 100 mph. It cuts off like a governor and says "distronic interference" I think, on the dash. why is it doing this? My distronic works fine although sometimes on the highway it will cut out and turn back on with my assistance perfectly fine.
things I have tried:
-finding winter tire mode (maybe guide me somebody please?)
-unplugging battery
-unplugging distronic
If I am missing something here or if anybody can give me a step by step on how to bypass this I would greatly appreciate it!

Best bet is to get it on STAR. I am sure someone in Ohio must have one.
