Just picked up my first AMG W211 E63
Hey Everyone,
Just picked up my first AMG, 2007 E63 AMG with (now 98,000km) 92,000km
Love the car! Looking forward to getting it set right with some maintenance then some power mods.
I've come from a super super super long lineup of Acura's and this is the first time I've transitioned into "big boy land" I'm already starting to regret it with things I have to fix
but I love the car.... Now for some pics!
Here is my TL, 2009 with Work VS-XX, scrolling through youll see the E63... Lowered on links at the moment, found a set of ADV1's wrapped in Michelin rubber. Tuned to remove the rev limiter, shifts sharper, sounds meaner. Cat delete with x pipe...

Congrats. These cars are amazing for what you pay nowadays. Both the W211 E55 and E63 are every bit as quick if not quicker than $50k-$70k performance sedans being sold today. And overall, the interior and exterior quality and design still hold up well to more contemporary cars. The only thing lacking is the safety and infotainment tech, but oh well.
My $14K 2005 E55 is much more solidly built with far better fit/finish and material quality than my $48K 2015 Chevy SS. It's not even close. As much as I love the SS, it doesn't *feel* like a $48K car: it feels like a $30K car. The 12-year-old E55, on the other hand, *feels* like an $80K car.
