It looks really cool!

Nice looking lights

How did you do the installation? Do you drill any holes to the side skirt? Any pics from installation?:

Hey that looks nice. How much, how hard to install and where do you get them? Your wheels are hot! What kind are they and what size are they?

"its a little ricey"

That's what I was thinking but I didn't want to be the first to call it out. It doesn't look bad but it does cheapen the look of the car.

To U.S. tastes it may appear a bit on the rice side of life, but the car is in Hong Kong.

IMO its only rice if they stay on when the car is in motion - regardless of where you are - these do not stay on:p

I agree, rice. The illuminated sills are OK, but not this.

2002 E55, Brilliant Silver/Charcoal and Grey, All option except Parktronic.
To each their own.

I was wondering if they stayed on all the time. Not for me, but then it is not my car. Some of you put wheels on your cars that I would not even park next to, sooooo, I wondn't judge too harshly.

I guess everyone has their own opinion and individual taste..that's how we make our cars unique!!

The LED's come on when you unlock the car with your remote...they can stay on if you so choose...The kit that I installed on my car is a Japanese brand called Ventuno.....But Brabus also makes one...almost identical...but 3 times the price......Haha...

I really do enjoy posting on this forum because it is a place for us AMG fans to exchange ideas. I appreciate negative comments on what I write. I don't expect everyone to like what I do with my car....The only thing that concerns me is when people start to get personal with things.....To say that the lights are rice...is fine with me...hell, even I think its a bit ricey sometimes!! hahaha...but to people like E55AMG2005..commenting on me having too much time and too much money....that I think is just rude. You claim to have an E55 2005 coming your way. Don't tell me that you ordered it because it was necessary for you to have one or your going to be feeding on cardboard boxes for the next 3 years..I think most of us AMG owners ARE AMG owners because we do have too much money and is damn proud about how we spend it.
I'm 26 and I drive a 2004 E55 AMG. I'd think both money and time are working to my advantage. bro.

I apologise to everyone else on this forum...if I come off too ****y....my comments are only towards certain individual who doesn't know what it means to respect other people and the true purpose of why we use this forum in the first place.

Chill bro, mmm ho gum hing (but "lay ho ngarm").

There's always going to be supporters and haters...anywhere and I too enjoy the variety of tastes for me to pick and choose - mix and match to create my own style.

Alex, can you tell me whether you ordered the Ventuno's from Japan or is there a shop that sells them? I can only find Taiwanese versions.... (Please Pm me if you prefer not to post here).

i don't see how calling your car 'ricey' and saying that you have a little too much time and money are all that different. this, and most other forums, are here for us to express our opinions, good or bad. if you decide to post pictures of an $80,000+ automobile with skirt lights that might, in my opinion, look very nice under my kitchen counter, that is my right to do so. yeah, anyone who decides to cough up the money for such an exclusive car has the right to do whatever the hell he/she wants to the car, but as you indicated, not everyone has to like it. and i don't. bottom line is...my comment should not be taken as any more 'hurtful' or less hurtful than your quirky addition being called 'ricey'. so chill out, its all good...i'm gonna think and do what i think...you think and do what you want.

When someone mentioned doing this before, I thought it too was ricey, so I declined doing it.

But after seeing the pic of it on your car, I now think it's really nice.

Where did you get the lights and how much does it cost?

Wow that's quite expensive. Do they have a website?
