The wagon just made a really odd noise around 35-40mph. It sounded as if we removed the airboxes and added headers or something. the engine had a really deep tone to it, sort of a nice growl actually. It lasted for maybe three minutes and then went away. Zero codes on the dash and I have not yet hooked my STAR DAS up to it to see if there is anything new hidden in there. My wife brought it to my attention and I was able to replicate it the first time, but I just drove it around for 10 minutes and could not get it to behave that way again.


Any idea what could cause this or what it was? The car didn't feel any different. All the power felt the same. The noise would increase as speed increased. It sounded great in all honesty, but zero chance it was a normal sound either of us are used to.
