Fuel system




With adapter cable, both pumps should be drawing approximately 13 amps each; if one pump draws 13 amps and the other 3 amps, the dealer failed to install the adapter cable. Amperage should be 12-13 amps each.
You should have the following adapter cable installed. At least one member had his fuel tank replaced but the dealer failed to install the adapter cable causing his engine to run lean at high rpms.

Easy to check; remove rear seat, look to see if there is an adapter cable like the one in the photo installed between the OEM harness and the fuel pump connector.
