jerking on acceleration

jerking on acceleration
E320 2009 w211 model. on fairly aggressive acceleration my transmission didn't want to change up the gears. it was as if it didn't know where it was. and ever since this happened my kickdown dosent work properly. can anyone help?

Things to check:
Pull out the cable and see if there is fluid on it
If not, service the tranny and replace the fluid/filter, this will most likely not be the solution
How long since you've serviced the mount?

It's hard to say if it will or not, make sure the transmission mount integrity is checked, and if the plug is leaking or not. Common problem on these cars, can cause a few issues with the electronics in general and is a tell tale sign the conductor plate might need changing- again hard to say if any of these things will make a difference because the 722.6 has a few things that can go wrong and they're a bit hard to diagnose (in my experience anyway).
