I had the cooling workshop warning https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...onnectors.html only I'm too late the pins are corroded off. I'm in the middle of fan removal and am stuck on removing the PS hose from this bracket bracket. Does it just snap in?
Yes those just pop out but you need to make sure you took the torx bit screw on the bottom right out to give you some wiggle room. This alternator DIY has all the steps you need to remove the fan plus some pics that will help you out, just ignore the alternator portions:
I removed the 10mm (Pic # 11. above the torx screw) nut and that released the hose's from the shroud. Yep that torx on the Right (passenger) has got to go and of course mine is rusted to the hose bracket and I stripped the head
