E55 oil drain plugs and washers - anyone have parts numbers and best source?
I did a forum search on this and gave up after reading through multiple rambling, hijacked threads that had everything but the part numbers and a good source for new drain plugs and washers for an oil change on my 2006 E55. Does anyone have this info easily handy that they can post up here? How about torque specs for the plugs? Doing a search for this info is maddening as most threads devolve into debates on draining vs. extraction, need for (or not) new plugs, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much. Looks like we both live in the Houston area. I can certainly take care of that six pack!

Get a Fumoto valve and be done with the bolt/crush ring forever... I have them on every one of our vehicles. The oldest one being on my 05' STi so almost 13 years old and doesn't drip or leak. Works as expected. Turn the lever and the oil comes out. I prefer this method over sucking it out of the dip stick tube mainly because it gives you a reason to look under the car and inspect things.

To the OP, make sure to note that you'll need 2 of each.
I was looking at these myself. Which model did you install? Any install advice?

I got this one:

I had a normal f106 but it interfered and did not screw on all the way because of our oil pan. And extension piece worked but I didn't like how it looked at all. So then swapped and got the F106SX which is perfect. I really wish these would come standard on all vehicles. Makes it sooooo much easier/cleaner to do oil changes. And in all reality I don't get any oil anywhere when changing our w211's oil. Other vehicles we have still gets some oil but that's only from undoing the oil filter that is under the vehicle. I wish all were designed with the top oil filter cartridge like on these. Truly mess free.

I went with these guys, lifetime warranty so when you change your oil next time, you buy another set, send them the old ones and get your money back

I use two of the Stahlbus quick oil drain valve plugs sb-210211-s-na. I installed these after letting the oil drain completely overnight then jacked the car up on the driver's side and cleaned the inside pan and plug threads with brake cleaner. I then applied a light coating of black rtv to the plug threads and then torqued them to 30 NM and let sit overnight again before filling with oil. I haven't had a leak yet.

Honestly I been using the same bolt and crush washer for a year with no problem. I thinks it's more of a liability reason why Mercedes always replaces them. I've also used the same drain bolt and crush washer on my Nissan for over 10 years with no problem.

Don't see the need for after market drain plugs but personal choice.

I have never changed the drain pugs or metal gaskets on any of my cars, only the soft crush kind. I am ready todo the 1st oil change on my E300, anyone out there change those at every oil change?
