Hi everyone.
So I went with the girlfriend for a quick drive tonight.. weather was cold so she decided to turn the heater up to about 70*. Not long after that a gas odor started coming from what seems to be the AC unit. Sure enough, the entire cabin reaked of gasoline. Searched all throughout the Forums and wasn't sure whether this ties directly into the leaking gas tank under the seats? I did notice a gas smell months back with the car parked in the garage.. thinking this all ties into the same issue.
Or could be oil leaking/dripping onto something like the exhaust manifold?... That burns and the AC brings the smell into the cabin. Not sure here.
Wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar?
Thanks in advance!

If you are pulling a fuel smell threw the heater system than more than likely you have a leak under the hood. Do not drive until you locate the leak. The potential for a fire is pretty good !!
